The Labour Party Candidate Gina Loveday out leafleting on Citrus Way

It's been a fantastic week to go out campaigning in the sunshine this week. Lots of positive response on the doorstep when we've been out canvassing and as always I've picked up a number of cases which I'm dealing with for people. Indeed today I picked up the issue of the Paddock Pub, which was supposed to be developed a couple of years ago, but the developer went into liquidation. The property has now changed hands a number of times and there seems to be no future plans. I will be chasing this up again on Tuesday to get the latest position and get back to those residents that raised it with me.

I've now started delivering my election address right across Langworthy Ward letting people know what I and the Salford Labour Party stand for. I hope people will take time to read it and consider voting for me.

It is only a Labour Council and councillors that can deliver in Salford and in Langworthy Ward. We've seen how the Liberal Democrats behave doing u turn after u turn to support and prop up the Conservative Government. Indeed things aren't much different on Salford City Council. The Salford Liberal Democrats more often than not support the Conservative Party. As Cllr Warmisham often says the Salford Lib Dems are just the rump of the Salford Tory Party !
